I am a second year at UVA and my intended major is biology with a minor in statistics. My project is aiming to use bio gels to promote adult neurogenesis through modulation of neurotrophic factors. I will be synthesizing the gels to be used in my study in addition to performing the experimental methods and analyses of cell and organismal behavior. In addition to research, I am an EMT at Western Albemarle Rescue Squad and a member of Delta Gamma. I TA for Biostatistics and am the Advocacy Chair of UVA's chapter of the American Medical Students Association.
